Emily MacDonagh has revealed that she and hubby Peter Andre have different opinions on whether to have a third baby

Peter Andre has been quite back-and-forth of late over whether he would like to have another child.

Pete, a dad-of-four, appeared (somewhat bedraggled) on Lorraine back in April, and said categorically that he would NEVER have any other children, that he was totally done with his lot and that a fifth baby for him (third wife current wife Emily) was seriously NOT on the cards.

Speaking on the show, Peter said: "Absolutely not! Not unless they invent a 24-hour coffee system."

He did quickly backtrack, saying: "No, I shouldn't say that. I haven't asked my wife."

We here at Closer Online then grilled Peter about his comments, and he revealed that his certainty was fuelled by a sleepless night and screaming babies.

He told us: "I felt really bad - when I said that on Lorraine, I had only had three hours sleep so I was having some humour failure at that moment.

"And so, when Lorraine asked if we were planning on having any more kids, and I'd gone to bed at midnight the night before, Theo was awake from 3am, then I had to be on Lorraine really early and when she asked about more kids I said, 'Are you kidding me? No chance!'"

Well that's fair enough - we've all been there!

Peter, 41, added: "Since then I've thought about it, and I still think I don't want any more kids, but I know that three or four years down the line things could be different. But right now I'm kind of cool.

"And of course, I have to ask the wife, don't I? I can't just make a decision by myself."

We thought to ourselves that this was probably a very fair thought process from Peter.

HOWEVER. It seems that wife Emily is definitely thinking about a third baby - as revealed in her column for OK! Magazine this week.

She wrote that they had been filming for their travel segment on This Morning: "There was one scene where I picked up a little pink dress and jokingly told Pete we should have another baby girl so we can dress her up in cute outfits.

"He didn't say a word!"

Eek!

Emily, 27, then added that she's not thinking about baby no.3 imminently: "I'm not ready for another baby yet – I need to get my teeth back into work and enjoy the two children I have – but I'd never say never.

"The thing is, I've reached the stage with Theo where it's all becoming so much easier. Now when I see a newborn baby I think they're gorgeous, but I don’t actually want one any time soon!"

In Emily's last column, she addressed her incredible weight loss - putting it down to breastfeeding.

She said: "I'm lucky that I've snapped back after both of mine, but I haven't really done anything apart from breastfeeding.

"I know it doesn't apply to everyone, but for me when I'm breastfeeding, I have to eat a lot to keep weight on, because you burn 600 calories a day from doing it, so I ended up losing quite a bit of weight with the breastfeeding after having Millie and Theo."
