EastEnders fans will know the actress Lacey Turner as the feisty Stacey Slater turned Branning turned Fowler. On the show we've seen her date the beloved Bradley Branning, have an affair with his dad, marry Bradley, become a widow after Bradley died, date Ryan Malloy and now marry Martin Fowler.

But now Lacey is getting her very own real life wedding. Lacey - who has been dating Matt since they were both 15-years-old - is usually very quiet about her private life but has now opened up on about Matt getting down on one knee on a gondola in Venice.

Although Matt had to change the date of the proposal because of the rain, he made it perfect. Lacey explained to OK! magazine: "We were on our gondola trip and I was just looking around and suddenly all of these rose petals were floating down from the bridge above."

How adorable!

Even though the EastEnders star was in shock she admitted: "I said yes straight away, of course!"

"Although as we cuddled afterwards the gondola tipped a bit and we nearly fell off! I was sobbing after Matt proposed – it was such a shock."

Awwwww.

The adorable couple are hopefully going to tie the know next year and Lacey has revealed that some of her cast members will be invited to the wedding: "I've been friends with some of the cast and crew at EastEnders for 12 years now, they've watched us both grow up, so some of them will be there."

And both Lacey and Matt want to have children, the actress revealed: "I'm ready for motherhood and I want four children – Matt wants three."

How cute!

We reckon Lacey will be a great mum.
