Mega congratulations are in order for EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, as her long term boyfriend Matt has finally put a ring on her finger.
The couple announced their happy news in the sweetest Instagram post - where Lacey looks overjoyed and overcome with emotion while she showed off her gorgeous rock.
Matt captioned the snap: “She said yes ooooosssshhhhhhhh #fiance@laceyturner"
Fans were quick to bombard the happy couple with congratulatory messages.
One wrote: “Yay!!!!! Best news I've heard! It's about bloody time! Love u both xxx”
Whilst another added: “Congratulations to you both, wishing you every happiness.”
The notoriously private Lacey, who likes to keep her romance with barber Matt under wraps, has even more to celebrate this month – as she was recently crowned Best Actress at the Inside Soap Awards, receiving recognition for her powerful portrayal of Stacey Slater’s postpartum psychosis.
Receiving her award, Lacey said: "I'm really bad at speeches, but I'm only standing up here because of a whole load of people. I would like to thank Scott [Mitchell] for everything you do and Dom [Treadwell-Collins] for letting me come home," she noted.
"I'd like to thank everyone who was involved in Stacey's postpartum psychosis storyline. Thank you to Mind and Bipolar UK. To Catherine and Eve, without you opening up, I wouldn't be able to do what I do."
