The path of true love certainly hasn’t run smoothly for Dani Dyer. Despite being crowned winner of Love Island in 2018 alongside Jack Fincham, they split just nine months later.
Two weeks after their break-up, Dani, 24, raised eyebrows when she reunited with an ex, Sammy Kimmence.
But her romance has been rocked by scandal, as last week Sammy, 23, appeared in court after being charged with attempting to scam two elderly men out of £34,000.
The stockbroker and amateur footballer is now on bail for allegedly duping the men into believing he would offer them financial services over a two-year period, and will return to court for a trial in the summer. As Closer went to press, Dani had made no comment.

Dani – who had briefly dated Sammy in 2017 – revealed in August last year that she was ready for marriage, saying, “I’ve told him I want to get married. I’ve told him I want him to propose to me on a boat – I’ve even told him what kind of ring I want.”
While Dani was on Love Island, her father, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, had expressed his hopes that she’d marry Jack, 28, saying, “It would be lovely if her and Jack would walk down the aisle but, who knows, let’s meet the f--king geezer first.”
Jack then shocked fans last month when he announced he’d become a father to a baby girlcalled Blossom after a fling with pal Casey Ranger, shortly after his split from Dani.
And the former pen salesman was in the headlines again last week after he was spotted kissing actress Emily Atack at the NTAs, with onlookers saying the pair were “unable to keep their hands off each other”.
Jack has been single since his split with Dani, despite being briefly linked to Lauren Goodger. He revealed during his stint on Celebs Go Dating last August, “I’m 100 per cent over Dani. I want to find someone now.”
