Dan Osborne and Jacqueline Jossa have been going through some pretty big life changes this month after buying a new house, which they are currently in the process of renovating, all the while adding another dog to their growing brood.
While discussing the big move, Dan spoke of his decision to get a guard dog to put his mind at ease when Jacqueline is left on her own in their new Essex home.
The former TOWIE star told MailOnline, “We’ve got two little, tiny dogs, they’re lovely and great for the kids, but then we’re getting a third dog, which is a trained protection dog, a trained family protection dog.”
The dad-of-three also revealed that years of online trolling due to him and his wife’s high profiles increased their need for greater protection at their new six-bedroom property.

Earlier this week on an Instagram Q&A, Jacqueline admitted that the move and renovations were taking their toll on her.
The former EastEnders actress said, “I feel like it’s the most stressed I’ve felt in a long time. It’s so much going on all at once. A lot of ££ and a lot of things to go wrong. But it’s also a challenge.”
Jacqueline continued, “It’s been really fun. I’m proud of our family and I think we deserve it. We have dogs as well, we have three kids, and two dogs and another dog on the way!”

Jacqueline and Dan’s new “forever” home is said to be a fresh start for the couple, as is the plan to renew their wedding vows once pandemic restrictions are lifted in June.
Jacqueline admitted, “The thought of it cringes me out slightly but we might do something like renew our vows when the time is right. We would like all five of us in the photos – we’d do it for the kids.
“It does feel like we have a new relationship though, so it might be quite nice to celebrate that.”
A source also revealed that whilst Jacqueline didn’t want the vow renewal to be too formal, she was planning to look the part on the day.
They said, “She’s working with a designer to create a show-stopping dress, but she wants to avoid anything bridal. The kids can’t wait to be involved too, with Teddy as page boy and the girls as bridesmaids.”
