Maura Higgins has been left unimpressed by Curtis Pritchard’s method acting approach as he prepares to take on the role of Dick Whittington for panto this year.
Curtis has been cast as the fame and fortune-seeking Dick Whittington in his first pantomime role, and is clearly taking it very seriously as he’s shaven off all his facial hair.

Taking to his Instagram stories to let his followers in on his hair removal journey, Curtis explained, "Dick Whittington here is clean shaven in my head so in my head I have to been clean shaven to get into role and character.
"Beard is going, Maura likes the beard and she doesn't want me to lose it, but it's going, guys. Pantomime ready. Here we come, baby, here we come. First day tomorrow, super excited."
And Maura has made her feelings known as she can be heard shouting "F-ck Dick Whittingham, or whatever his name is."
A fine sentiment indeed.

And while many of their fellow Islanders’ relationships crumble around them, Curtis and Maura have gone from strength to strength as they confirmed they’d officially become an item back in October – despite living in different countries.
And following the exciting news he would be starring in panto this year, Curtis lamented that he wouldn’t be seeing Maura over the festive season.
“At the moment I am only visiting Maura once a week anyway because of our work schedules,” he told The Sun.
"I have been training for my boxing and Maura has been training for Dancing On Ice, so we are opposite ends of the country at the moment. So it will be the same when I do panto."
