She’s been in turmoil ever since her husband Wayne was caught in yet another compromising situation last month – and now it's been revealed Coleen Rooney is preparing to leave him
The 32-year-old WAG is currently living in Washington with Wayne and their four boys – Kai, nine, Klay, five, Kit, three, and 14-month-old Cass.
But she is still struggling to forgive her husband after a ten-hour drinking session that resulted in him getting in a car alone with a barmaid he’d met that night.
It was the latest in a series of misdemeanours for the footballer, and came just weeks after he was arrested for being drunk and verbally abusive at a US airport. Eighteen months earlier, he was arrested for being drunk behind the wheel after driving home party girl Laura Simpson, while a pregnant Coleen was on holiday with their sons.
And as she gears up to come back to the UK next month for Easter, her friends are trying to persuade her not to return to America, and to start a new life without Wayne.

Wayne also cheated on Coleen with prostitutes while she was pregnant with Kai, and famously visited brothels when they first started dating back in 2002. During their ten-year marriage, he was also caught drunkenly urinating in the street, and lost £500,000 in a matter of minutes at a casino.
And, after this latest incident, he’s reportedly refused to apologise, so it’s understandable Coleen’s friends feel she’s better off at home.

“Her close friends hate how Wayne has treated her over the past few years and think she should leave him – even if it’s just a trial separation to teach him a lesson,” the insider says.
“They wonder why she puts up with it, and think the problem is that she and Wayne have matured differently. He seems to want different things – and it’s obvious to them that he seems to resent Coleen, as she stops him from having ‘fun’ all the time. From what they’ve seen over the past two years, Coleen seems to have disappeared into herself.
“The bright confident girl of a few years ago is gone, and instead she appears to be struggling under this enormous weight of worry and constant stress. It doesn’t help she feels isolated in the US.
"Coleen has been bottling up a lot of the emotional stress and tension, and she knows she could break down when she’s back her family and friends.”
However, while Coleen – who, along with Wayne, is worth an estimated £70million – would ideally like to save the marriage for the sake of the children, divorce is looking increasingly like an option.
“She’s still trying to figure out if she can forgive Wayne, but isn’t sure she can,” the source said.
“She wants to move home, but only if it’s best for the boys. They’re loving it in America – they’ve settled into school and have made friends. But those close to Coleen are hoping this trip to the UK will convince her to finally put herself first."
