As former escort Helen Wood continues to talk about her steamy sessions with Wayne Rooney, pals say Coleen is ready to break her silence with a tell-all book
On the same day that Wayne Rooney shared a sweet family picture with wife Coleen and their four boys on Instagram, former escort TOWIE cast reveal which celebrities DMs they've slid into appeared on Good Morning Britain to defend her decision to discuss their sordid affair in her latest book.
As guest host Jeremy Kyle took her to task over dredging up details of their hotel romp almost a decade ago, saying, "I know [Coleen] and I think it messes her up," Helen, 32, hit back, slamming Coleen for standing by Wayne.

It was only after party girl Laura Simpson claimed he "kissed and hugged" her before he was arrested for drink driving in 2017 that Coleen finally broke her silence. In an emotional Facebook post, she admitted that Wayne had “made silly and selfish mistakes, some he’s learnt from, some obviously not”.
As Closer reported last week, Coleen, who relocated to the US last year after Wayne signed a £300,000-a-week deal with DC United, had wanted to release a statement aimed at the two hookers, but was advised not to in order not to fan the flames. But now pals say Coleen feels she has no choice but to pen an updated autobiography.

Our source says, "Coleen has had endless offers over the years to write a new autobiography – her last one came out over ten years ago – and she knows that everyone would want to read it. She has kept a dignified silence for more than a year, but now she feels ready to open up. She wants to put the truth out there so that all the unnecessary speculation can be put to bed once and for all.
“She dealt with the scandal surrounding Wayne at the time, and so instead of being hurt, she’s understandably angry at Helen for raking it all back up. Friends wouldn’t blame her for wanting her revenge now and agree the best way would be for her to have her say.”
