Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan is taking a break to try and fix her marriage and get away from social media abuse
Eagle-eyed Loose Women viewers may have noticed that Coleen Nolan hasn't been on the panel as regularly since her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
And it has today been revealed that it's no accident.
A spokesperson for the CBB 2017 winner has announced that Coleen will be taking some time out of the public eye to focus on her marriage and "deal with" social media abuse.
In an interview with Best Magazine, the spokesperson said: "The truth is she needs some time away from the spotlight to get her head together.
"With so much going on in her family, she just wanted to be at home, so that's why she cancelled all her appearances over the last few weeks.
"Coleen is sick of being criticised on Twitter, and now her allergies have flared up, making her skin sensitive to wearing make-up.
"She doesn't want the scrutiny or heartache of being attacked online for not looking her best."
N'aww Coleen, ya poor love.
As a Loose Woman, the trait of being bluntly open about your life is something that Coleen is very familiar with.
She is more than used to revealing intimate secrets about her past and present life, including saucy details about her sex life - remember the time she told us she once fell asleep using a sex toy?! It was almost too much info, Col.
Or when she discussed a sex tape she'd once made with ex-husband Shane Richie. It's an image we'd rather not have if we're honest!
And before she went into the CBB house, she was candid about her marital problems with hubby Ray Fensome too.
But after appearing on the show, she realised that, in the immortal words of our Chez, she wanted to "fight for this love".
In a Diary Room session whilst in the house, she revealed: "I came in here when my marriage is not great, really not great. What has been good about this is we needed the break, we needed to be apart.
"What has been nice in here is there has been so many times I have missed him."
When she left the house, she told CBB presenter Emma Willis that being in the house had made her, "realise how much I do need him in my life."
Best of luck to Coleen and Ray!
