At the time, the Made in Chelsea stars were no longer in a relationship but decided they would co-parent their little one together. But a year on, they're back together with their adorable baby girl India and recently spent their first Christmas together.

Now the 27-year-old mum has opened up about her six-month-old daughter's personality, the hardest thing about motherhood and the world of weaning...

India's a proper little Gemini

"I'm very fortunate to have a very easy baby," Binky admitted when we met.

"She sleeps all night quite well, whereas my sister's baby gets up a lot, so I know I'm really lucky."

And it's not just sleeping that baby India has nailed. Glowing with pride, Binky went on: "She's smiling and giggling a lot and she's sitting up now – not for very long but – on her own. She's getting a personality now and that's the best thing to watch to develop."

The MIC star added: "She's very chatty, very giggly, she's very hungry like me. She's a proper little Gemini. I love her to pieces."

Bless!

Binky on motherhood

In her pregnancy announcement on Instagram, Binks admitted that falling pregnant was the "the best surprise" - but how has motherhood lived up to her expectations?

"I do feel like I've kind of always been very maternal and I do feel like it's been quite easy for me," Binky confessed.

"I think I'm shocked at how easy it has been but then again, I know it's not like that for all mothers. I'm very fortunate to have a very easy baby."

Binky's obviously loved being a mum, but what's been the best bit so far?

"It sounds really cringe but I think watching them do something new every day and watching her develop every day – turning more into a human. It just gets better and better," she explained.

"Nothing has really shocked me. I think it's all been smooth sailing so far so fingers crossed it continues."

Although Binky's taken to motherhood like a duck to water, she admits that it is a transition, telling us: "As soon as you have a baby you have to put yourself on the back foot. Your baby comes first no matter what."

The world of weaning

Weaning can be a difficult stage for any new parent (just ask Amy Childs who divided the internet with this weaning question or Holly Willoughby who caused controversy with her vegan weaning tips!), but luckily for Binky her daughter has taken to it really well.

"I love it. India is easy, she just loves food so much that she's got it down her," Binky gushed.

"It's really fun, it's actually making me learn to cook because what she eats I eat."

And Binky went on to admit that although India is only six-months old, she already has an enviably healthy diet, saying: "Everything is no sugar and no salt. I had a weaning lesson last week so I'm interested to learn more about that and experiment more with that."

But although Binky seems to know what she's doing, when we asked for some tips she was keen to make it clears she's no expert!

"I haven't done it long enough to give any tips at the minute to be honest. I'd sound like a plonker if I tried to make one up," she chuckled.

We really rate the honesty!
