They have both gone through high-profile marital splits – and now Adele and Kim Kardashian are said to be confiding in each other and sharing tips on how to move on and find happiness after each experiencing heartache.
Last week, as she announced her fourth album, 30 – written about her 2019 divorce from Simon Konecki – Adele said she had “finally found my feeling again” after coming to terms with their separation, which had left her in “a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil”. In her highly anticipated new single, Easy On Me, she sings about changing who she was to put him first.
Earlier this month, Adele opened up about the devastating impact of the divorce on their nine-year-old son, Angelo.

Discussing the guilt that resulted from her decision to end her marriage, the 33-year-old superstar revealed, “I voluntarily chose to dismantle [Angelo’s] entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness. It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that’s a wound for me that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to heal.”
Her painful admission – revealing that her son had questioned why his parents couldn’t still live together – came ahead of the release of her new album, which she says she hopes will offer her only child some answers.
The notoriously private star added, “If I can reach the reason why I left… If I can find that happiness and he sees me in that happiness, then maybe I’ll be able to forgive myself for it. I want my son to see me really love and be loved. It’s really important to me… I’ve been on my journey to find my true happiness ever since.”

In interviews for US and UK Vogue, the Hello singer also spoke about her new romance with sports agent, Rich Paul, 39, after meeting through mutual friends earlier this year. “We’re very happy. He’s great,” she gushed. “He’s so f--kng funny. He’s so smart, you know.”
And as the star – who shed 7st following her marriage breakdown, admitting she became “addicted” to exercise in a bid to ease her anxiety following the split – details her journey to new-found happiness, insiders say she has been secretly helping her pal, Kim Kardashian, 40, with her own struggles amid her third divorce from the father of her four children, Kanye West, 44.

Insiders previously told Closer that the pair had struck up a friendship after meeting through Adele’s new boyfriend, whose clients include the basketball-star boyfriends of two of Kim’s sisters – Khloé’s on/off beau, Tristan Thompson, and Kendall’s boyfriend, Devin Booker.
A source says, “Kim’s been struggling with the fact that they no longer live as a complete family – she never wanted that for her children, so she feels terribly guilty over it.
“Adele has been a huge support and has told Kim she is proof that, sometimes, you need to make the difficult decision to put yourself first for everyone to find happiness.

“Adele’s really passionate about the subject as she went from being so unhappy to finding her true self and being more content than she thought possible.
“Kim is inspired by her strength, and she’s become her go-to friend over the last couple of months – she now calls Adele her ‘divorce coach!’
“Often, Kim will call Adele at night in a panic over the magnitude of her decisions and Adele will quote snippets of the book she swore by after leaving Simon – Untamed by Glennon Doyle – to help reaffirm her decision and completely overhaul her attitude.
“She’s also encouraged Kim to meditate daily to help get out of her own head and have a clearer mindset, which has been helping immensely, too.”

Since filing for divorce in March, Kim has sparked speculation she may reunite with the rapper amid a series of cosy public displays and reports she was “open” to a reunion.
Kanye even sat in the front row to support his estranged ex last week as she followed in her friend Adele’s footsteps to guest-host US comedy show Saturday Night Live – watching as she light-heartedly poked fun at him.
“I married the best rapper of all time,” she quipped. “A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So, when I divorce him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality.”
And insiders say Adele has urged the reality star to stay on good terms with Kanye – but insists it doesn’t mean they have to get back together.
Adele maintains a strong co-parenting relationship with Simon and, last month, his BFF and EastEnders star Sid Owen invited her to his wedding to Victoria Shores, insisting, “[She and Simon] are really good friends, they still get on well.”
And insiders say Kim – who shares joint custody of North, eight, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and two-year-old Psalm with the rapper – has taken inspiration from Adele’s co-parenting set-up, which she hopes to mirror with the troubled rapper.

The source adds, “Kim and Adele have made a pact to lean on each other whenever they need and this has given Kim a huge amount of strength – it’s made her feel more confident in her decision to not look back.
“Adele has helped her to see that she isn’t a failure for pulling the plug on her marriage – if anything, she’s setting the greatest example possible to her children by showing them the importance of doing what truly makes you happy, as well as surrounding them with love. Kim and Adele have really come to rely on each other.”
And, in an effort to fulfill that pact, pals say Adele has vowed to help Kim find love again, like she has.
The source adds, “Kim’s ready to move on and meet someone who will give her butterflies again and remind her why she’s done this – to ultimately find true happiness.
“Adele’s already got her eyes on one of Rich’s friends, who she wants to set her up with. They’re hoping to go on a double date in the next couple of weeks, which is giving Kim something to look forward to and smile about.”
