1) Heavy metals
One for the sparkle-lovers: glistening, metallic lids were a popular choice amongst fashion houses this season – and we can’t wait to recreate this silver, smoky eye when the festive season arrives. To let the look shine, make sure to pair it with nude lipstick and keep your base make-up subtle.
2) Gothic glam
Nothing screams gothic glam like a berry-coloured lip and a deep smoky eye, and that's exactly what the make-up artists at alice + olivia 2023 show were going for with this look. If you're not brave enough to wear both, the berry lip alone will look great for the colder seasons.
3) Slept-in make-up
If you always smudge your eye make-up, this one is for you. Lived-in, messy eye make-up is becoming increasingly popular on social media and now it's found its way to the runway. Because it's all about looking like you've been out partying, simply use your finger to apply eyeshadow and buff it out with a make-up brush. It couldn't be easier.
4) Deconstructed liner
Okay, so this one may require a steady hand, but practice makes perfect! Once you've got your wing down, take your eyelinerand continue the line under your eyes and towards your inner corners, creating a cool, cat-eye effect.

Last year, we saw the likes of Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kylie Jenner and Maisie Williams all jump on the controversial bleached brows trend – and now, we've spotted it on the runways too. At Paris Fashion Week this season, models at Balmain's AW23/24 donned the look alongside stripped-back, glowy make-up.
6) Face gems
Taking face gems to a whole new level, models at the Louis Vuitton show wore these futuristic embellishments as part of their eye looks and frankly, we're loving the look. Aren't they just perfect for festival season?
7) Colour burst
If spring is your favourite season, don't fret. According to the runways, you'll see pretty pastel make-up all the way through to autumn, brightening up the darker days with a flush of blue, lilic and pink across the lids. Dreamy!
8) Vampy lips
For those of you that favour a nude lip shade, it's time to step out of your comfort zone, because rich, berry tones are in, giving a nod to the vampy, goth-girl aesthetic that's trending. To take it up a notch, add a swipe of gloss over your chosen shade.
9) Statement lashes
Remember that blue mascara you wore religiously during your youth? Well, it's time to dig it out, because Prada is pushing pastel lashes for AW23, sending their models down the catwalk in these fashion-forward falsies.
10) Think pink
Colourful liner was spotted everywhere at Fashion Month, including at Carolina Herrera’s A/W ’23 Show. Rather than going in with a traditional liner or pencil, backstage make-up artists dipped a wet brush into pink eyeshadow to create the pretty pastel look. Obsessed.
