About five years ago, I borrowed a copy of ’30-Day Shred’ from a friend. For the next 30 days, I diligently worked my arse off every day for 30 minutes, watching Jillian Michaels tell me my life was going to change if I worked hard enough. And, in complete honesty, I did lose weight. But more than that, I regained a love of working out, and getting fit. Although my weight has gone up and down since then – thanks, baby weight – I still rely on Jillian to provide a decent workout and HIIT routine.
I’ve tried Joe Wicks, I’ve tried Davina, but none appeal to me like Jillian does. I not only use her DVDs but also follow her on Instagram. where she gives me daily motivation to get up and do some exercise. It might not work EVERY day, but damn she works hard.
