If you're in the market for a moisturiser that can hydrate and soothe dry skin (face and body), enter the iconic green-tubed favourite: Weleda Skin Food. As well as being the internet's favourite, it's scored a legion of celeb fans including (but not limited to) Molly-Mae Hague, Olivia Attwood, Ella Thomas, Kaz Kamwi, Hailey Bieber AND Victoria Beckham. If it's good enough for them, it's more than good enough for us.

While it feels like a celebrity's skincare routine would be untouchable, it turns out our ladies love a bargain as much as we do. Weleda Skin Food normally retails for £12, but right now you can score your new fave moisturiser for just a tenner at Amazon.

More than a moisturiser, the celebs have found it to be the perfect base and primer for glowy makeup, with it often being recommended by their own makeup artists. Providing that instant drink of hydration, the moisturiser can be used top to toe to smooth any dry patches you may have.

But to really prove its worth, our reviewer Caitlin put it to the test. With acne-prone, combination skin, she proves this favourite isn't just for the dry skin girls.

Weleda Skin Food: Our honest thoughts

"The Weleda Skin Food has been in my skincare stash for some years now, and it is a product I rebuy far too often! I go through this stuff in no time at all – and mainly because it's a product that does it all.

"Mainly, I love using it as a face moisturiser on a day-to-day basis, or on the days where my skin is feeling drier (I have combination skin, so this can vary daily). I particularly reach for this as a face moisturiser in the winter when my skin tends to need a bit more love. As someone who suffers with acne flare-ups, I am selective with the products that I use on my skin - they need to be gentle and not cause/worsen flare-ups. For me, this passes the test – but like anyone who suffers with acne, this was a product I introduced into my routine gradually and made sure to take time to see that it was suitable for my skin.

"But, as well as a face moisturiser, I enjoy using this on my hands, body and also my feet (listen, we all get cracked heels – it’s gross, but it happens) which is probably why I get through it so quick. I find it’s great on specific dry patches, and it works really quickly. To be honest, I tend to have the Weleda Skin Food in my bag at all times - even when I’m out and about - it’s just a does it all product and really saves the day.

"I find the product lasts me well through the day, and I may reapply to specific dry patches, but other than that – it tends to be good to go! Having combination skin, I find that when I’m exercising, sweat + thicker moisturiser isn’t the best duo, so I tend to apply this when I know I’m going to be sat for a few hours just so the product can really absorb into the skin.

"The packaging works well for me, although when it gets to the end, I do the toothpaste trick to really make sure I get all of the product out of the tub. I have also been known to chop the end of the packaging off too… but surely that’s the sign of a great product, she says."
