Eleanor (Ellie) is the Deputy Homes & Garden Product Editor for Yours, Take A Break Pets and Modern Gardens. In this role, she oversees the best-of listicles, how-to guides and product reviews across homes, gardens, pets and everything in between.
Ellie began her passion for writing while studying for her English Literature and Drama BA at The University of Kent, where she was the Culture Editor of the university paper, InQuire. She actively wrote a blog whilst travelling during her year abroad in Denmark and subsequently joined Bauer Media Group soon after graduating. In 2017, she started working for Yours Magazine as part of the Commercial Team, hosting in-person events for the readers and recommending the best products on the magazine pages. In that time, she also helped review beauty products for The Debrief and Grazia as part of their 5 On 5 series.
As a writer, Ellie's expertise lies in everything in and around the home, from trampolines to decluttering tips. She loves the challenge of finding the best products and would never recommend anything she wouldn't wear, use or try herself. She's borderline addicted to exploring social media for trends and décor and, thanks to her experience on Mother&Baby, has kept a keen eye on celeb mums and influencers to share what they've been using to help make parenting that little bit easier. She's an expert in searching socials for those most-loved products you need to know about.
In her spare time, Ellie enjoys going to gigs in London, reading a good thriller and finding homeware inspiration online.
