If you're one more inconvenience away from booking a holiday abroad, we can relate. It's time to pack some thick jumpers, your chunky boots - and don't forget the toiletries.

Toiletry bags are a godsend when it comes to travelling. Forget searching for your moisturiser and lip balm at the bottom of your tote, toiletry bags can help compartmentalise all your necessities (like that mud face mask) and keep everything nice and tidy.

Now you might be thinking - isn't that what my make-up bag is for? Sure, while make-up bags can be used for toiletries (and vice versa), toiletry bags are typically a little bigger in size and have more compartments, meaning they can fit that giant bottle of dry shampoo AND your shea butter body lotion.

We've found the most convenient and stylish toiletry bags on the market, that you can order just in time for your next trip.

Beauty travel tips

As much as we love a cheeky getaway to a location far, far away, our skin will sometimes take the fall. We're talking acne, flakiness and all that other good stuff that comes from any long-haul flight, or train ride. Luckily, a few quick fixes can save the day.

1. Hydrate: Water and clear skin come hand in hand and there's no dryer air than that inside a plane. Take a full water bottle on board, and sip away. Your skin will thank you for it.

2. Avoid wearing make-up: We totally understand wanting to look good for your flight, but do yourself a favour and travel with a bare face. Make-up combined with dry air is the perfect recipe for a breakout, so try to keep it as minimal as poss. If you do want to wear some make-up, we suggest a tinted moisturiser or BB cream.

3. Moisturise: An obvious but important one, we recommend packing on the moisturiser before heading on your trip to keep your skin as hydrated as possible. This will help combat the dehydrating effects of the plane's cabin pressure.
