If you’re not sure why you should swap regular beauty products from your bathroom cabinet to organic versions, you’ve come to the right place.
Whatever your reason for wanting a change, you can read all about why I DITCHED my regular beauty routine for natural skincare products and why I’d never go back. This will hopefully make you decide to finally do the same. You’re welcome.
1. My sensitive skin doesn’t flare-up
First of all, I’d like to let you know that I have terrible skin. I was first medicated for acne at 12-years-old and still battle with it today over 13 years later. YIKES. Anything I’ve put on my skin (in the past) seemed to flare-up my spots or make me blotchy. I was that sensitive, even some cleansing water set me off.
2. It’s better for the environment
This one literally says it all in the title. Not only does it benefit you, but it also helps the planet.
3. It can be cheaper
If you know where to look, you can often find that organic beauty products won’t break the bank. OK, some will be a bit more expensive, but I’m alright with that, because the results always leave me feeling fabulous.
4. The perfect excuse to bargain hunt
One of my pastimes is trawling the internet to find the best deals. That way I get to discover niche brands, which create everything from soaps to lip balms and face scrubs.
5. Get the glow
I’ve finally found the secret to getting that glow we’re always hearing about… And, I personally think that it’s a combination of using natural beauty products and being happy.
To get you started, here are some of the best organic skincare products.

6. Adonia Organics Plant Collagen Day Serum
For a plant-based skin boost, Adonia Organic's Plant Collagen range is a must-have, especially in the winter months. Get the Night Serum to restore your skin overnight, too. Tried and tested, 2020: "When I first opened the bottle, I was a little put off by the colour and texture, but that's what you get for using overly-manufactured products for so many years. It smells of cucumber which I love, and sinks into my skin immediately, leaving it feeling refreshed and energised. After just a couple of weeks use, my skin is more even, looks toned and brighter, and the lines on my forehead and around my eyes are way less prominent. I'm hooked on this stuff now - my only regret is that I didn't discover it sooner."
7. A'kin Natural Dry Shampoo

Although it isn't certified organic, all active ingredients are of organic origin.
