Top tips from the Closer team for a wonderful Mother's Day:
Go for a walk together
If you live nearby, why not grab a bunch of daffs from your local supermarket and meet mum for a walk around the block?
Have breakfast in bed together
Ask your mum to hold off opening her presents so you can do it together over breakfast. You can have a nice catch up together with a warm cuppa and it'll be just like when you were a kid...only without whatever failed breakfast food your childhood self had attempted that year (anyone else?).
Arrange her a Deliveroo/Uber Eats meal
If you can't be with your mum IRL, even if it's just a coffee, there's something to be said for making your mum a cuppa on Mother's Day, she'll definitely appreciate the gesture. If you're feeling more fancy, you could even sort a DIY restaurant kit or a take away. The world's your oyster.
