William Mattson was attacked by the victim’s boyfriend, also known to be his nephew, at his South Carolina property.

Mattson was reportedly caught on top of the alleged victim before the nephew dragged him off her. He then launched himself at his uncle and beat him.

The nephew beat Mattson so badly that he was left with two black eyes, a bleeding lip and cuts all over his face.

Later Mattson, who allegedly assaulted the girl in a room she shares with her boyfriend, was charged with first-degree sexual assault.

According to reports from a police statement given to Myrtle Beach Online Mattson told police officers he was drinking with the girlfriend after she arrived at home on her own, before they started hugging and kissing with consent.

He claimed they then went to bed, adding that she was naked and he was fully-clothed – which the victim denied.
