A set of twins born in California over New Year's were born in different years - one was born in 2017, the other was born in 2018!
Maria Flores, from California in the US, was due to give birth to her twin babies on 27 January, but the babies surprised her and arrived four weeks early.
But that wasn't the biggest surprise of their arrival - as one was born on New Year's Eve, and the other was born on New Year's Day!

Maria gave birth to Joaquin Jr. Ontiveros at 11.58pm on 31 December 2017, and gave birth to his sister Aitana de Jesus Ontiveros at 12.16am on 1 January 2018.
The doctor who delivered the babies was also in shock, having never seen anything like this before in his 30-year career.

Dr. Seyed Tamjidi told KGET News: "I've been in the practice for almost 30 plus years, and I've never had the opportunity to do anything like that before."
Amazingly, Aitana was the first baby born in 2018, which means that the family will be gifted $3,000 worth of baby supplies as per the hospital's annual tradition.
Baby Aitana is learning to share with her brother VERY early on in her life!
The twins are the youngest of five in the Ontiveros family, and have three older sisters whose ages are between six and 18.
