Amy, 26, from Oswestry, in Shropshire, decided to undertake the challenge after her friend’s daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
In all, Amy has ran over 1,300 miles and has worn through five pairs of trainers while completing the challenge.

She crossed the finishing line today in Manchester and told the Mirror: “In a strange way it is sad that it’s all ending.
“I put so much time and effort in it and I enjoyed it so much. It’s going to be strange, I’m not really going to know what to do with myself, I’ve been 100 per cent concentrating on the runs for 53 days.”
We’d have a large glass of vino, Amy. And then maybe try and eat our bodyweight in cheese…
Amy – who works as a sports therapist – started the challenge on 6 August in Chester and then ran 26.2 miles in a different city every day following.
She hopes to raise over £50,000 for the Isabelle Lottie Foundation.
Well done, Amy!
