American Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney was one of the celebrities targeted by the mass iCloud hacking, which led to personal pictures being leaked onto website 4Chan.

McKayla, 18, took to Twitter to tell fans that the photos were fake, though letters from her lawyer claim she was under the legal age of consent (which in her home state is 18) when they were taken and that she owned the copyright of all the photographs.
The letter demands that websites such as Porn.com take the photos down immediately as sharing the photos could be classed as distribution of child pornography.
A rep for Porn.com told TMZ that they removed the images as soon as they received the letter from the Olympian’s lawyers.
Other celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence, Cat Deeley and Ariana Grande have been targeted by the hackers in what has been described as the biggest celebrity hacking in history.

Most media sites are refusing to share the images, and many public figures are urging Internet users NOT to search for them.
Lena Dunham even took to Twitter to describe the hacking as a ‘sex crime,’ whilst actress Anna Kendrick wrote on her Instagram page that she hopes the person responsible for stealing the photos goes to prison.
