Lena Dunham: “Hackers are sex offenders, the way you share your body is YOUR choice”

Actress Lena Dunham has blasted the hackers behind the mass leaking of private photos of over 101 female celebrities, branding them as ‘sex offenders’.

In a series of Tweets, the Girls star condemned the hackers and called for 4Chan users to ignore the photos in protest.

“The way in which you share your body must be a CHOICE. Support these women and do not look at these pictures,” she wrote.

“Remember, when you look at these pictures you are violating these women again and again. It's not okay.”

The hacker- who is currently being hunted by the FBI- managed to enter the iClouds of celebrities phones to obtain the extremely private and intimate photographs, many of which show women in various states of undress.

Lena continued: “Seriously, do not forget that the person who stole these pictures and leaked them is not a hacker: they're a sex offender.”

“The "don't take naked pics if you don't want them online" argument is the "she was wearing a short skirt" of the web. Ugh.”

Many other celebrities have shown their support for the targeted women, with Perez Hilton removing photos from his site and writine a heartfelt apology to Oscar-winning actress Jennifer.
