Research has found the top 10 life events that cause British adults to appreciate their lives even more.

The study, undertaken by Bupa Health Clinics, found that two-fifths of British people have never considered that their health might be able to help them achieve their ambitions.

Half of those studied have never thought about how being fit and healthy could have an impact on their professional career, and 44% said that they overlook how good physical health can have a say in your social life.
