James Bulger's killer Jon Venables has been jailed after police found he had over 1,000 images of child abuse on his computer
Jon Venables has been sent back to prison today after admitting possession of 1,170 images of child abuse.
The court at the Old Bailey in London heard that Venables, who served eight years in prison for the murder of toddler James Bulger in 1993 when he was just 10-years-old, also had a manual on how to be a paedophile entitled the "Jazz Guide."
The sickening book apparently teaches people how to have sex with a child "safely."
The court heard how Venables, who was charged back in November, told police as he was taken to the police station that he had "let people down again," blaming his "urges."
He reportedly said: "This is my own fault. I have let people down again.
"I have had stupid urges, inquisitive. I'm not going to be seeing this for a lot of years. It's not going to be a slap on the wrist for me."
Sentencing today, Mr Justice Edis said: "When you were 10-years-old, you took part in the brutal murder and torture of James Bulger. That was a crime which revolted the nation and which continues to do so even after the 25 years that has passed since it happened.
"The facts of what you did are notorious and there is no need for me to repeat them here."

He added that the images Venables had owned "heartbreaking for any ordinary person to see this kind of material," and that the manual was a "vile document."
When sentencing, he said that it was "so serious that only an immediate custodial sentence will suffice."
He explained how he would normally have handed him five years in prison, but since he pleaded guilty he has been sentenced to 40 months - three years and four months.
