Wedding planning expert George Watts claims he can tell you if your other half is planning to pop the question based on the presents they give you this festive season.
George has spent 10 years organising weddings for happy couples and has written a book called How to Spot a Prince and Marry Mr Right. And he has encountered so many couples that he believes he knows what the subconscious thoughts are behind their gifts.
The good news is, it's not about the size of the gift or how much they spend. Apparently something as simple as a single cupcake could mean he is thinking marriage.
According to George, if you receive one of these from your man this year, it could mean you’ll soon be walking down the aisle:
However, George also thinks some gifts show there are bad things to come for some couples.
He claims a cubic zirconia ring could spell the end for some romances.
George explained: “It may seem like a minor detail at first and easy to dismiss. But trust me, this is just the beginning of a life full of fakery.
“Lies deceit and treachery springs to mind.”
Gifts that apparently mean you shouldn’t get your hopes up include:
George said: “(These gifts) are a totally noble gesture for pre-pubescent teenagers, but from a grown man, it’s just a little big wet, desperate and pathetic.”
