A mother was left shocked when she discovered the doll she bought her daughter for Christmas made 'sex noises.'

Gail Turley purchased a Cry Baby doll for her two-year-old daughter Kayla on eBay. The toy is meant to simulate the behaviour of a real baby and is even advertised as producing “real” tears.

Sensibly, Gail decided to test the doll before wrapping it up ready for Christmas, to see if it needed batteries. It was then that she got a bit of a shock...

Gail told Wales Online: “It sounds erotic - that’s the only way I can describe it.

“My friend just bought one and her husband had to take it back. To be honest, I don’t know what I’m going to do with it!”

People reviewing the toy on online shop Amazon have also been complaining of the same issue.

One person wrote: “My daughter likes her but my hubby and I are rather freaked out!”

Another compared the toy to a “porn star”.

Gail is most disappointed with the company’s advertising as she believes it doesn’t truly represent the toy.

She said: “I listened to the advertisement on (the TV) and it had a baby crying so I assumed this baby would be the same.

“When you see something advertised you expect it to be like that, especially with kids!”
