Harry Whittaker, one of two little boys who took the role of Leo Goskirk in Emmerdale, has sadly passed away

Last night's episode of the soap ended with a tribute to the Down's Syndrome sufferer, who played Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk's son Leo.

Mark Charnock, who plays his on-screen chef dad, tweeted: "Please can I respectfully ask you to watch to the end of the credits of the 8pm @emmerdale tonight. You’ll understand why. Thank you. RT. X"

After the credits rolled, it was sadly revealed that the little boy, who lit up the screen, had passed away.
