VIDEO: Man jokes he has Ebola on plane – with extreme consequences

If you joke about having the Ebola virus while you're on an airplane, this is what will happen…

Everyone knows you can't say "bomb" on an airplane - and, nowadays, you can't joke that you have Ebola while sneezing on one either.

Well obviously, right?

Clearly not. On US Airways flight 850, travelling from Philadelphia to the Dominican Republic’s Punta Cana, one passenger with the sniffles let out an almighty sneeze.

And, before anyone had time to THINK about saying 'bless you', he cracked a joke about his Ebola acting up.

Ha ha ha - except not really, because his joke led to the plane being grounded and swarmed with hazmat-suited emergency team members.

Naturally the passenger - branded an idiot by airplane crew - was removed and isolated, where he was later found to neither have traveled to Africa, nor be Ebola-infected.
