FOOTBALLER CHED EVANS BANNED AFTER PUBLIC OUTCRY
"There is no doubt not only Sheffield United but just about every club in the country has been taken aback at the strength of feeling about his case.
“As he is struggling to even train with fellow pros in this country, his best bet may be to go abroad and rebuild his career.”
Evans, 25, was being paid £20,000 a week before he was found guilty of raping a 19-year-old girl in 2012. He served 2 and a half years in prison before his release last month.
His victim has had to assume a new identity, quit her job and move away from her family after her name was illegally made public by Evans’ supporters.
Evans girlfriend, Natasha Massey, has stood by him throughout the case and the controversy over his return to football.
