Portuguese detective Goncalo Amaral has made shocking claims in a new documentary that Madeleine McCann's death was covered up by MI5 - with former Prime Minister Gordon Brown even being involved
In the ten years since three-year-old Madeleine McCann went missing, her name has barely been out of the news as her parents, Kate and Gerry, desperately continue their search for her.
However, the decade anniversary next month has seemingly invited a whole host of people to share their theories as to what happened to the little girl.
Former glamour model Jodie Marsh recently launched a Twitter tirade against Kate and Gerry McCann, claiming that they were to blame for her disappearance.
But former police detective Dave Edgar, who worked on the case for three years, ruled out the possibility that they had been involved and thinks that she may be still alive.
However, two Portuguese detectives have come forward with explosive theories that the little girl's parents actually killed her and hid her body.

The documentary claimed that Portuguese police monitoring the Spanish border were spotted sitting in their car for 40 minutes to avoid the rain, rather than checking cars.

The police initially released a suspect drawing, which was simply an oval shape with no facial features, just hair. Kate admitted to a friend that she had no faith in the Portuguese police.
One of whom, Goncalo Amaral, who led the investigation when it was with the Portuguese police, has even gone so far as to write a book entitled The Truth Of The Lie about his theory.
But he has taken his wild theories one step further by appearing in an Australian documentary about the disappearance of Madeleine, who was just three-years-old when she disappeared.
Mr Amaral, 56, said to the reporter: "There is no hint or proof the child was kidnapped. On the contrary, there are hints the parents were negligent, and there are hints they were hiding the body."

Bizarrely, he also added that British agents "for sure had an involvement" and even that former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown was involved.
But the documentary also featured an interview with the McCanns themselves, who rubbished his accusations and said that they had "damaged" the search for Madeleine.
Kate went on to say that she would "never" give up on Madeleine, saying: "I don't believe any parent could. I don't believe we would ever reach a point where we think, 'Oh, we've done everything now'.
"Whilst the situation remains as it is, Madeleine is out there and she needs us to find her," adding they would keep looking "forever".
Clarence Mitchell, who has represented the McCanns for the past ten years, said that the British authorities had "warned" them "not to show overt emotion" in public appearances as the perpetrators "may get a sexual kick out of the parents' distress and tears they have caused."
However, this caused public reaction to the McCanns to turn, calling them "cold" and "poker-faced", to which Kate said: "I don't think I had a day for eighteen months that didn't have a long period crying. Now I've learned that people judge very readily, and what you see on camera isn't the full story."
Gerry added: "I have to say I couldn't really console her because I was paddling frantically below the surface."
Colin Sutton, a former Scotland Yard investigator who has investigated Praia Da Luz many times, revealed that the investigation actually had a new lead to follow with the hope that it may uncover new information about the disappearance.
He said: "It's felt there is somebody who worked in the Ocean Club complex who it's felt may have some knowledge or be of assistance.
"It's almost impossible to find a body without specific intelligence that would allow you to focus on a specific area. It's a large area of low population and scrubland, of ancient wells, and there are areas where humans don't go from one decade to the next.
"It would be very easy to secrete something there and be very confident it wouldn't be found."
