The couple were returning to their home on Christmas Eve when they found a less-than-festive message etched into their front door.
Under their beautiful Christmas wreath, a homophobic vandal had carved in a horrible, derogatory word.
Rather than get upset or challenge the vandal face-to-face, the couple simply wrote a note to the person responsible.
The note- which they posted on their door- read:
To the individual who scrawled the word ‘f****ts’ into our door
We regret to inform you that you completely failed to use glitter paint and/or sequins, your work looked rushed and your handwriting was positively atrocious. It is for these reasons we had to remove your work from our door with sandpaper.
Fabulously yours,
The gays in Apt 611.
The note has since been posted on photo sharing site Imgur and has gone viral over the Christmas period.
We hope that the couple didn’t let the vandal quash their festive spirit!
