Keeping snug with the best Christmas jumpers around the people you love, and getting into the spirit, just feels correct. Whether you're planning to spend Christmas Day as the best dressed, or you're spending the whole day cosying up in festive pyjamas, there's one thing that's absolutely certain... we all need a Christmas jumper in our wardrobe.

In the past, the phrase was used to describe some terrible hand-knitted creations that your gran made, but all thanks to Christmas Jumper Day it's become cool to wear festive sweaters. Of course, we're hitting the trends.

To make the Christmas shop that little bit easier, we've compiled toy gift guides, and homeware advice, not to mention rounded up all the best Christmas 'fits that we could find. Here are our favourites that you can buy on the high street this year. You could even get a matching jumper with your better half - as a cheeky early gift for him or her.

For our round-up, we've tried to pick a range of sweaters, from the ugly to the most fashionable (that a Christmas jumper can be) - even a maternity Christmas jumper has made the cut. The very best, and the very worst.

We're picturing Bridget Jones right now...
