London’s biggest urban festival returns to the Capital once again for three days of an eclectic mix of pop, dance and R&B. With acts including singer-of-the-moment Jess Glynne, DJ Calvin Harris and alternative rock-pop band The 1975, the line-up is a little more diverse than previous years and we can’t wait to check it out.

Both multi-day and day tickets are available for this non-camping event across three stages and the headliner acts finish by 10.30pm each day, so you can even get the train home! Result.

READING / LEEDS

26th-28th August. Reading and Leeds.

Weekend tickets £213 / Day Tickets £66.50

Taking place in both Reading and Leeds on the same weekend, the acts alternate between both locations so you don’t miss out on anything! Headliners this year include Disclosure, Biffy Clyro, Fallout Boy and Red Hot Chili Peppers. This is the only UK festival that the Chili Peppers are playing this year so be sure to catch them if you are a mega fan!

Acts start playing across the stages at around midday so by the time you’ve woken up and shaken off your hangover it’s time to start the fun all over again! Early entry passes are available as well as an instalment plan, so you can pay for your ticket over a few months.

SUNDOWN

2nd – 4th September. Norfolk Showground, Norwich.

Set in the heart of Norfolk this is a fairly new festival with lots to offer! Comprising of three stages and a Big Top tent it’s fun for all the family. There are camping and glamping options. Yes, glamping! So if you really don’t fancy risking the English weather and staying in a tent why not upgrade to some luxury?!

The main music doesn’t actually start until Saturday but if you are a weekend camper you are invited to the exclusive Big Top opening party on Friday and the after party on the Sunday. Saturday’s headliners include Chase & Status and Jess Glynne. Then on Sunday start the party all over again with Jason Derulo, Years & Years and Fleur East!

This is another festival that takes place at two different locations and this year the MASSIVE line up does not disappoint! Huge headliners such as Justin Bieber, Sia, Rihanna and David Guetta are seriously not to be missed, especially Biebs! Everyone loves the Biebs.

Along with British favourites like Bastille, Rita Ora, John Newman, Little Mix and Example performing this weekend is going to be a non-stop party! AND there’s even more artists to be announced. There is standard camping and luxury camping, including yurts and bell tents as well.

LATITUDE

With nine stages Latitude brings us a great musical line up as well as an equally amazing arts programme. Musical headliners include The Maccabees, The National and New Order. Heading up the comedy stage is none other than Russell Howard as well as some other great names. There are also more arts activities and installations happening on other stages including poetry and theatre!

This is a great family friendly festival with two designated children’s areas. A small kid’s area and an Inbetweener’s area for ages 12+ with lots of activities going on all day to keep your young ones entertained.

Set in a beautiful woodland setting Latitude also offers glamping and a pre-erected tent service! AND a payment plan for tickets! What could be more easy?!

Oh, and don’t forget to keep an eye out for the bright pink sheep!

WILDFIRE ADVENTURE CAMP

Here’s a festival with a twist! Wildfire is more of a Questival than a Festival. With no electronic devices allowed - not even cameras - transport yourself into a 1950’s style adventure camp full of fun. With over 80 activities included in the ticket price you can find yourself taking part in rambling, archery, yoga, bee keeping, dance, screen printing and so many more.

By night the forest turns into an electric music festival. With a top-secret line up of new and old music, it’s guaranteed to get you dancing! This is an over 18’s only festival.

KENDAL CALLING

Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District Kendal Calling is not just a music festival! Festivalgoers will also enjoy arts installations, kids entertainment, great food and a real ale festival.

Headliners include Rudimental, Madness and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying birds. As well as acts such as, Catfish, The Bottlemen and The Darkness performing over the course of the weekend. There’s always the chance to sample Kendal Mint cake too. Mmmmm yummy.

GLASTONBURY

22nd – 26th June Secret Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset

Since starting in 1970 Glastonbury festival is arguably the biggest and most diverse festival in the UK. Set in 900 acres of Somerset countryside this is so much more than a music festival.

Headliners such as Muse, Coldplay and Adele and other acts include Foals, Ellie Goulding and The 1975 but there are even more to be announced. With 3000 different acts over 100 stages you are guaranteed to catch all your faves, or even discover something new.

There’s the theatre and circus area where you can see crazy shows or even take part in a workshop. Plus there’s a Kidz Field with climbing walls, zip wires and so much more to keep the little ones entertained.

By night, events and DJ sets go on until 3am. Dive into Arcadia and experience a DJ set on top of a giant spider shooting flames into the air, whilst acrobats perform off of its legs and you dance underneath it!

ONBLACKHEATH

OnBlackheath, which is in partnership with John Lewis, brings us a great mix of music and food. As it takes place slightly later on the year it’s a great festival to go to and end your summer with a bang.

The main stage Saturday night headliners are Primal Scream and Hotchip, and on Sunday they have Belle & Sebastian and James. Other acts playing across the weekend include Thundercat, Connan Mockasin, Alexander Nut and Laura Groves.

Also, the John Lewis Food Village will showcase the very best culinary delights for you to try. You can book a table at the Chef’s club banquet and enjoy a few courses of gourmet goodness. Plus enjoy live demonstrations from top chefs who will teach you to cook like a pro.

Alternatively, if you don’t fancy any of that there’s also the best street food on offer throughout the weekend. You can also sample the best of London’s beer and cocktails at many of the onsite bars.

For the first time this year Puffin Books will be entertaining the kids with their World of Stories workshops across the festival. So as well as good food and great music the little ones are kept happy too!

BESTIVAL

Curated by Josie and Rob Da Bank, Bestival is an action packed festival taking place on the beautiful the Isle of Wight.

Each year Bestival has a theme and this year it’s ‘The Future’. Complete with a 20m high rocket in the spaceport dance area, for next level futuristic next partying! Bestival has eight main areas including an ambient forest, Magic Meadow, Grassy Hill (which features an 8m high robot that only dances the more you dance!) and the Stardust Field, which is the main stage.

Headlining the Stardust Field stage is The Cure, Major Lazer and Hot Chip. Other acts include Katy B, Years and Years, Wolf Alice and Krept & Konan plus so many more across all of the venues.

Innocent Un-plugged

Innocent Un-plugged gives people the chance to switch off from technology and embrace in real life experiences, as there's no WiFi, 4G or traditional electricity! The sound system is powered by people dancing on our energy mats and pedal bikes, and there will be music from Lucy Rose, who's new music video features Danny Dyer.
