You've been (secretly) looking forward to the kids going back to school all summer, but then September finally comes and you remember just how hectic those weekday mornings can be.
It's fair to say you don't know what morning mayhem is until you've had to drag multiple sleepy bodies out of bed, get them fed, cleaned, dressed, and packed off to school on time.
And when you're a mum of girls, it's even harder, as you have to be a hairdresser as well.
Well panic no more, as we've teamed up with the wonderful team at Gary Pellicci Hairdressing to create three simple, fuss free back to school hairstyles for girls you can create in a matter of minutes (and possibly even with a coffee in one hand!). Check these out...
THREE FUSS FREE BACK TO SCHOOL HAIRSTYLES FOR GIRLS: STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
1. Fuss Free French Plait

Spray hair with Philip Kingsley for Kids Detangling Spray from roots to ends and using a paddle brush to remove all knots.

Brush hair back and take a small triangular section at the front of the hairline

Separate the section into 3 equal sections

Take the left hand section and place over the top of the middle section so this now becomes the middle section
-
Take the right hand section and place over the top of the new middle section keeping all sections taut
-
Take the left hand section plus a small amount of new hair nearest to the section and add the the left hand section whilst placing over the middle section
-
Repeat on the right taking a small amount of new hair and adding it to the section
-
Keep repeating and adding hair from left to right until all hair has been uses
-
Plait the tail and secure with a non metal hair tie

2. Classic Ballet Bun

Spray hair with Philip Kingsley for Kids Detangling spray from roots to ends and using a paddle brush remove all knots.

Brush hair back and upwards to the crown of the head making sure hair is smooth all over, secure with a non metal hair tie into a pony tail.

Take the tail of the ponytail and twist hair together.

Wrap the twisted hair around the secured hairband until all hair is neatly wrapped.

Secure bun with hair grips tucking in all loose strands of hair.

3. Sleek and Chic Ponytail

Spray hair with Philip Kingsley for Kids Detangling spray from roots to ends and using a paddle brush remove all knots.

Brush hair back and upwards to the crown of the head making sure hair is smooth all over, secure with a non metal hair tie into a pony tail.
