With a release date now set for JUNE THIS YEAR, Disney Pixar have just released the official trailer for Toy Story 4

Following a couple of years delay, it seems like we can finally start getting properly excited for Toy Story 4, because the official trailer has got plenty for us to chew on while we wait for it to hit cinemas.

Action packed scenes shoe Bonnie's new pal Forky running away from home to fulfill his destiny with "soup, salad, maybe chili – and then the trash".

The action follows Woody, Buzz and co travel across state to get Forky back to Bonnie, with plenty of the touching moments we've come to love this franchise for.

But don't just take our word for it – check out the trailer below.

It was announced back in April 2018 that the release date for the hotly anticipated return of everyone's favourite toy was set for this summer.

Taking to Facebook, a photo of Post-It notes in the shape of a number 4 was posted with the caption: "Reach for the post-it! Toy Story 4 comes to theatres on June 21, 2019. πŸŽ‰ 🎨: @kimmybirdsell and @vincent_salvano."

Back in 2014 it was announced that Toy Story 4 was set for release in 2017, but a year later there was bad news for fans as it was revealed the release would be delayed. John Lasseter, director of the previous films, also stepped down as the director, but revealed he would be staying on as executive producer of the sequel.

However, after a number of setbacks, it seems Toy Story 4 is still on for the revised release date of 21st June 2019. This latest reconfirmation from the film studio has been excitedly received by fans, with the post getting over 81K shares and 151K reactions.
