For so long we've had to pick a side... X-Factor or Strictly Come Dancing.
Relationships torn apart, family arguments, rows over which show is better. And more importantly which programme gets priority on a Saturday night.
Well put all the TV tensions on hold as the battle is over. Well, at least for tonight.
The stars have aligned and for the first time this year, there'll be no overlap in the broadcast of the two entertainment shows. Woohoo!
Yes, it means we won't have to miss any of Tess Daly's bad jokes or Simon Cowell's nasty put downs.
With tonight's Strictly episode starting at 6.35pm on BBC1 and finishing at 8.20pm, fans of both shows can quickly switch channels and catch the start of the X-Factor's Judges' Houses on ITV.
And the even better news is, it looks like the schedule change could be set to stay with the first live X-Factor shows also airing at 8.20pm next weekend.
With the two programmes fighting it out in the ratings war year after year, this could be a sign that the X-Factor is moving aside after being consistently beaten by its BBC rival.
But before we all get used to this new state of peace on a Saturday night it looks like Sundays could still be a bone of contention with Strictly and X-Factor still clashing in the schedule.
Well, we're confused...
