Ruth Langsford has angered fans of Strictly Come Dancing after revealing the results a DAY too early.

Ruth, who is currently starring on the show with her Strictly partner Anton Du Beke, revealed to her fans that she had been put through to next week's show - a day early.

She tweeted and also uploaded a video, both of which she has now deleted, revealing that she was ecstatic to have gotten through and thanked her fans.

The Strictly results show is always filmed on a Saturday and aired on Sunday evening, but the results of the show are strictly embargoed until then.

The TV presenter took a video of herself in the bathroom after the results show had been filmed, and uploaded it to her Facebook page.

She told the camera: "Just wanted to say, thank you, thank you, thank you so much for voting to keep me in Strictly Come Dancing.

"I'm just having the best time. And that tango tonight, I just loved it. And I did the worst dress rehearsal you could imagine as if I didn't know the dance.

"So I just thought I cannot go out and do that to Anton tonight, it's just not on. So I pulled my socks up and went for it, and fortunately, it paid off, but that's thanks to you as well!"

She added a caption on Twitter which read: "We're through to next week... Yaaay! Thank you SO much xx"

But this did not go down well with fans of the show who wanted to keep the results a surprise, as they slammed her for "spoiling" it.

But others praised her for her dancing, saying she'd done a brilliant job.

Eek, naughty Ruth!
