Just months after the arrival of her daughter Rose, Stacey Solomon has announced she's landed an exciting new TV gig.

The mum of four shared with fans that she'd been asked to co-host Great British Bake Off: The Professionals alongside Liam Charles, taking over from former presenter Tom Allen.

Posting to her Instagram stories looking utterly delighted, Stacey told fans, "I was so excited when they asked me, we’ve filmed a couple of episodes and it’s just been so much fun, everyone’s been so lovely. I basically just count them in and say, ‘ready, steady, go’ and then I just eat cake all day! It’s such a cool job, I love it so much."

Sounds pretty good to us!

Meanwhile, handing over the reigns on his own Instagram account, Tom said, "I’ve had the best time co-hosting The Professionals down in Sussex with my wonderful friend Liam but now is the time to move on. Stacey Solomon you are going to be absolutely amazing I can’t think of anyone better to be doing it! It was my first tv presenting job back in 2018 and it has taught me so much - thanks to the amazing team with whom I’ve loved working, all the incredible chefs and most of all Benoit, Cherish and of course the brilliant Liam. Have a great series you guys!! X"

It comes after she revealed earlier this month that a brand new series for her highly anticipated TV show BBC One'sSort Your Life Outis officially in the works.

"Just in the garden building some steps and I'm so excited to tell you... The BBC are letting us make another series of SORT YOUR LIFE OUT 🥳😭," the mum of four announced.

On her Instagram Story, Stacey has said, "It was my dream job, and it's thanks to you for watching it and supporting it that we get to do it all again."

The Loose Women presenter also shared details on how to apply to be in the new series if you're in need of sorting your life out.

On her Instagram Story, she wrote "An actual dream come true 🤍.

"We are looking for new homes to visit, here's a link to apply. Good luck!"

She added, "So excited 😭 @declutterdollies @rebb_carpentry @mistercarrington."

The show's Instagram account also told followers the email address needed for details on how to apply. Additionally, you can apply on the BBC website, or audition directly for the show.

And if you've never watched Sort You Life Out and you're not sure about the show, then we'd definitely recommend it especially if you're a fan of makeover shows like DIY SOS, 60 Minute Makeover or Queer Eye. Stacey's show will be right up your street.

The feel good, uplifting and emotional programme has received high ratings from its viewers.

The first season aired back in November last year and viewers saw Stacey and her team help families declutter their living space and part with their belongings - breathing new life into their homes.

As well as giving the houses a makeover, Stacey and the team taught the families the importance of organisation and storage in small spaces.

On the show Stacey and her team promise "to help people fall in love with their homes again".

Although the details of the new season airing hasn't been confirmed yet, we know one thing for certain - we need more of Stacey Solomon in our life.
