Despite only running for two series, Spaced launched the careers of some (now) well-known faces including Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Jessica Stevenson.

The show followed the lives of Daisy (Stevenson) and Tim (Pegg) as two twenty-something Londoners who, despite having only just met, move in together.

Both series one and two were nominated for BAFTAs and the show became an instant hit with fans.

TV Choice Awards 2021: shortlist nominations announced

Last year, the cast of Spaced actually reunited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show and to discuss the impact that the series had had on its audience.

Unfortunately it was also during that cast reunion that Pegg revealed a third series of the hit show was incredibly unlikely, disappointing fans everywhere.

He said, "I don't know if we could write it with the same degree of honesty that we did with the first two series because we were those people at the time. Now we're clueless film actors who aren't really in touch with reality.

"It was such of its time, it would be a strange thing to do now."
