She was a Geordie Shore OG – joining the show as one of its original cast members when she was just 21 years old – but Sophie Kasaei’s time on the show has apparently come to an end as she’s reportedly quit.
It’s claimed that Sophie, who also appears on TOWIE alongside her boyfriend Jordan Brook, pulled out of the upcoming series after contract negotiations broke down.
‘Sophie has been in negotiations with show bosses for weeks now, but they can't agree on the terms of her next contract,’ a TV insider has revealed.

They told The Sun, ‘Sophie doesn't really want to leave, but she feels she feels like she brings a lot to the show and has been there a long time, so she wanted her new contract to reflect that.
‘Sadly, an agreement couldn't be reached, and while there could always be a last minute bid to keep her from MTV, as it stands right now, Sophie is walking away.’
Representatives for Geordie Shore and Sophie Kasaei have been contacted for comment.

It was previously reported that the cast were causing a ‘headache’ for show bosses as they negotiated a deal to appear in series 26, which is due to begin filming in Lisbon next month.
‘No one expected negotiations to be this difficult,’ a source told The Mirror.
‘A lot of the OGs love the show, but they’re not going to sign up just for the sake of it. They’ve got other things going on. Unless the offer’s worth their while, they won’t commit.’

Sophie won’t be the only Geordie Shore legend missing from the upcoming series as producers reportedly wielded the axe over Scotty T just a year after he returned to the show after he after he pleaded guilty to two counts of driving with a controlled drug.
Scotty was banned from driving for a year and fined £330 in the wake of the incident.
A source told The Sun, ‘Scotty T will not be back for the next series of Geordie Shore, which starts filming later this spring. While the Geordie Shore cast have never been expected to be squeaky clean, bosses couldn’t stand by his recent off screen antics.’
