Controversial head judge Shirley Ballas has FINALLY discussed with Closer Online who she thinks will win BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing 2017, and we are honestly surprised at her verdict.
Despite her years of experience in dancing and judging international competitions, Len Goodman's replacement (who was never going to have an easy ride by the public!) has had a frosty reception from viewers, who claim she has been scoring contestants harshly, received criticism for an 'insensitive' amputee pun and fans have even called for her to be sacked.
OH DEAR.
We caught up with Shirley Ballas - who looked stunning in a Elsa from Frozen-inspired frock - at The Pride Of Britain Awards, and asked her the question on everyone's lips...
'WHO WILL WIN STRICTLY 2017?!'
"That's the question of the evening!", the 56-year-old told CloserOnline.
"Every week, I go in there and I'm surprised by the performances people bring... first of all, you have this one, then that one, then this one from over here...
"Anyone could win!"
Anyone Shirley? Anyone? ANYONE?! Ruth Langsford could pip bookies favourite Aston Merrygold to the Glitterball trophy? Ermmmm... we may have only done dance for GCSE and barely remembered our kit, but we can still place a bet on who is this year's worthy winner.
Alexandra Burke has continuously raised the bar dance after dance and made the hairs on our arms stand on end. Aston Merrygold's routines are endlessly flawless. There are only two potential winners, lets be honest.
Shirley's reluctance to declare her favourite to win the competition is also very surprising as it seems so against her nature - from what we've seen on the series so far, it's not like Shirley Ballas to be shy!
The new judge is famous for ruffling feathers, being opinionated to the point of controversy and being unapologetically bold.
However, when we met Shirley at the Pride Of Britain Awards, she seemed timid and miles away from her 'Mrs Nasty' telly persona.
Perhaps she was channeling her inner Elsa from Frozen AFTER her younger sister's meddling... She definitely looked the part, that's for sure!
