There’s clearly something in the air in the Toon as not only are Geordie Shore stars Ricci Guarnaccio and James Tindale locked in a bitter feud, but one of the show’s biggest stars has allegedly been dropped from the show.

Producers have reportedly wielded the axe over Scotty T just a year after he returned to the show; he was banned from driving for a year and fined £330 after pleading guilty to two counts of driving with a controlled drug, which was above the specified limit.

A TV insider has revealed, ‘Scotty T will not be back for the next series of Geordie Shore, which starts filming later this spring.

‘While the Geordie Shore cast have never been expected to be squeaky clean, bosses couldn’t stand by his recent off screen antics.’

They told The Sun, ‘At the end of the day, it’s not a good look for the show or MTV if they endorse cast members who drive whilst under the influence of illegal drugs.’

A MTV representative has been contacted for comment.

Filming for series 26 of Geordie Shore is set to commence very soon, with the cast said to be heading off to Lisbon. However, according to reports, the show’s stars were causing a ‘headache’ for bosses during negotiations.

‘No one expected negotiations to be this difficult. A lot of the OGs love the show, but they’re not going to sign up just for the sake of it,’ a source told The Mirror.

‘They’ve got other things going on. Unless the offer’s worth their while, they won’t commit. Some are tempted, but it could go either way.’

If the next series of the show is anything like its predecessor, it’s set to be dramatic af after Ricci Guarnaccio hit out at James Tindale in a rant about ‘lying manipulators’.

'Hanging off the back of other people because your career has been like a flaccid penis that's never been able to get hard. Even Sophie had to hold your hand to get Coach Trip. 20 series of Shore and have to use so called mates,’ he fumed on Instagram.

‘I'm going to embarrass you, you lying fake ass b*tch! Selling that story that me f**king mam had to read was that worst thing you could have done you lying f**king c**t.'
