If you're reading this, you probably watch enough reality telly to know that when it comes to these shows, the word 'reality' comes with air quotes; big, slow air quotes. That's why as soon as dumped Islanders land on UK soil, we do our best to entice them into filming an episode of Love Island Secrets. Love Island, in particular, is a MACHINE, and the metropolis of production going on behind the scenes never ceases to amaze us.

Eight series in, let us tell you, we know some tea, but it seems as we learn one secret, another is made.

Every week, because we live for the #dramz as much as Love Island producers, we always reserve one question to the very end of Love Island secrets and its juicier than the apology smoothies the boys have made for the girls on more than one occasion.

Anyway, said question is, 'What is the behind-the-scenes secret you didn't know until going into the villa?' This week, we put said juicy question to dumped Casa Amor boys, Jack Keating and Samuel Agbiji and if we'd have known Samuel was going to spill this much tea, we would've asked the cleaners to borrow a wet floor sign in preparation.

Nevertheless, we prefer a major tea spillage to no tea spillage.

Samuel revealed that he had no idea he would be asked to "hold chats" by Love Island producers.

He told us, "Sometimes you've got to hold them because obviously production is shooting everybody, so if you're having like a really good conversation, but somebody else is having a really good conversation, sometimes they make you hold it, so they can catch them both."

Wild, right? As a casual viewer you just assume every deep chat / argument happens at a stand alone moment, but it seems if someone else's argument is more explosive, Islanders are asked to shelve their petty squabbles for a quieter moment.

Oh reality telly, how you deceive us. And how we fall for it again and again.

And again.

Samuel entered Love Island's Casa Amor on Day 26 and was dumped from the island on Day 31, so we didn't get much time to get to know sexy Samuel, unfortunately.

When asked to describe his Love Island experience, Samuel said it was "a once in a lifetime experience, but I didn't find love which is completely fine. The way I see it is that love is not meant to be for me just yet. But I still had a great time because I've made some great friends."

He continued, "When I got there, I wanted to get to know Indiyah but she didn't really want to get to know me, which was fine as there’s not much I could really do about that. I had two conversations with her but I wanted to speak to her some more but it just never happened, she would always hold it off. It was one of those things where I just didn't get to properly know her in any way, she just completely shut off which is fair enough."

When asked which couple he thought would win the show, he said, "The strongest couple is definitely Luca and Gemma because they were the only couple that stayed true to themselves, they passed the test with flying colours. The rest of them didn’t really, I kind of knew that Jacques wasn't really going to stay loyal to Paige. Even Andrew and Dami coupled up with other girls. Luca and Gemma were the two ones that I can imagine going far."
