Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes are proving there’s no bad blood between them and their Friday This Morning replacement Alison Hammond as they’re set to star in a Christmas panto special together.
Also joining the line-up are famous faces Sheridan Smith, Lisa Snowdon, Joanna Lumley and Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
The panto will be a mash up of a number of popular fairytales including Cinderella, Aladdin, Snow White and others.

West End star Sheridan, who’ll be playing Peter Pan, said, “The whole theatre and creative industries have been devastated by the virus and lockdown.
“Hopefully doing this Panto with This Morning will provide some of these people much needed work and give everyone some hope and laughter for better times to come."

It was only last month that rumours began circulating that long-running This Morning hosts Ruth and Eamonn were being replaced on their weekly Friday slot by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in a bid to shake up the line-up.
Speaking to The Mirror, Joanna, who’s playing the Wicked Steptmother, said, “To be able to help them in any small way is a privilege and a pleasure; and I am thrilled that we shall be paying tribute to them in this sensational one-off pantomime."

And there was quickly talk of a rift between the presenters with some viewers accusing Ruth of “ignoring” Alison during a video link.
More recently it was reported thatAlison was in emergency duty of care meetings with ITV over vicious trolling online following the announcement.
“Alison is a tough cookie, but the vitriol from some so-called fans of This Morning has been impossible for her to ignore,” a source told The Sun.
"As a result of Love Island and Jeremy Kyle tragedies, ITV are very serious about duty of care and arranged to sit down with Alison to see how she was coping.”
The special will air on Friday 11th December.
