Fans were delighted when Celebrity Big Brother revealed the signing of legendary ’80s actor Mickey Rourke – with his longtime pal Lizzie Cundy telling Closer he’ll win hearts in the house.

Revealing that people can’t help but fancy Mickey, Lizzie, 56 – who describes the heartthrob as an ‘old friend’ – shares, ‘He loves women. He’s charming and very funny – he’s still a sex symbol now! He loves female company, so he’ll gravitate more to the women, and they will love him. He always used to say to me, “Why do you go on about these footballers? They’re pussy cats next to me!”’
Mickey, 72, got his big break as Hollywood’s leading man in 1986, starring in erotic thriller 9½ Weeks. However, in 1991 he underwent a career change – pursuing professional boxing at the age of 38.

And while he’s known for a being a tough guy, Lizzie – who was introduced to Mickey through her hotelier pal, Cheryl Howard – says he has a softer side. She reveals, ‘People think he wants to fight anyone who doesn’t agree with him, but he’s very soft and sweet.
‘He’s got a star quality and everyone will be hypnotised. But if you get on his nerves, you’ll know about it! He likes things Mickey’s way, and he doesn’t take any crap.’
