Who is Luke Thompson?
He’s a British actor famous for playing the older brother of Daphne Bridgerton and the younger brother of Antony Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series. He learnt his craft studing at the University of Brstol and later graduated from RADA in a Bachelor or Arts in Acting in 2013.
As well as Bridgerton, Luke has appeared in many TV and theatre productions over his career so far.
What has Luke Thompson been in?
You may recognise him from Dunkirk, where he starred alongside Tom Hardy and Harry Styles as Warrant Officer. He’s also known for playing Connor in Netflix and Channel 4 series Kiss Me First.
More recently, he portrayed British politician Peter Hain in the British comedy-drama film Misbehaviour, appearing opposite Keira Knightly.
As well as TV and film, Luke is well known in the theatre circuit and has appeared in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe alongside the one and only Sir Ian McKellen.

He was born on 4 July 1988, so that makes him 33 years old.
Where is Luke Thompson from?
He was born in Southampton but was raised just outside of Paris as his father was an engineer at Disneyland (how cool) and his mother was a teacher. He speaks fluent French and when he returned to England he admitted it was a struggle to learn English again.

Who does Luke Thompson play in Bridgerton?
He plays Bridgerton brother Benedict and is the second eldest Bridgerton child. Just like his little sister Eloise, Benedict shows no interest in the society lifestyle and strikes up interest elsewhere. His interest in exploring sex outside of convention leads him to an "alternative" party and theories that he might not be straight.
Luckily for Bridgerton fans, Benedict will be back for series two – which is currently in the works – and as it will soley focus on Benedict's older brother Anthony finding love, we’re bound to see a lot more of him to come.
