There have been tears and tantrums aplenty on Love Island over the years.
We're talking Dani Dyer's heartache over THAT video of Jack Fincham, Teddy Soares arriving back from Casa Amor to discover Faye Winter had recoupled and now Shaq Muhammad's Movie Night tears.
Amid the high drama and sexy scenes, we often warm to Love Island stars when they reveal their vulnerable side. We just want to go in there and give them a hug - until they go ahead and do something to annoy us (ahem, Georgia Steel being 'loyal'... Remember that?).
We've kept on top of the muggiest moments, ranked the biggest love rats and gathered the most hilarious Love Island lookalikes.
Now, it's time to reflect on Love Island's saddest moments EVER. Sob.

Shaq's Movie Night tears over Tanya
Poor Shaq had only just started to get his relationship with Tanya back on track after she brought Martin back from Casa Amor when Movie Night hit him like a freight train. He was forced to watch the woman he loves flirting with and kissing another man, causing him to question their relationship and eventually storm out of the villa in tears. Tear tally: 10 (we lost it when he sobbed into Tom's chest - we were also jealous)
Tasha crying after the Snog, Marry, Pie game
2022 Islander Tasha got a lot of flack from the boys in the villa and it all got a bit too much after the Snog, Mary, Pie game after her relationship was criticised by Luca Bish and Dami Hope. Tasha broke down in tears and Dami and Luca were forced to apologise. Almost a year on, she's still going strong with Andrew which is the best revenge. Tear tally: 9 (we really felt for her)
Jacques quits the villa
We didn't always agree with Jacques' behaviour in the Love Island villa but even we welled up when he quit the villa in emotional scenes after Paige moved on with ultimate bombshell Adam Collard. We have to give him credit for recognising that the villa wasn't the best place for him to be at the time and it seems like he's worked on himself a lot since leaving the show. Tear tally: 8 (it was a weepy one)
Millie discovers Liam was unfaithful
Poor Millie was blindsided when Liam returned from Casa Amor single. She was led to believe that he remained faithful but the truth came out when Lillie revealed exactly what went down. Poor Millie was in tears and so were we, tbh.Tear tally: 9 (Millie Moo didn't deserve it)
Amy Hart getting dumped
Despite Amy's feud with Lucie early on in the series, she seemed to be having a great time with Curtis. Unfortunately, it all came to an end following Casa Amor because while Curtis' head turned towards Jourdan, Amy was preparing to tell him she loved him. He later ended things and she left the villa. Tear tally: 8 (our hearts broke for her)
Teddy returns from Casa Amor
Teddy remained faithful during his time in Casa Amor but following that infamous postcard, Faye decided to get to know the other boys and chose to recouple. Teddy returned to the main villa single and was left devastated by Faye's actions - he even brought back her teddy bear. Tear tally: 8 (because Faye was being pretty savage about it)
Amber in tears over Michael
Michael's character definitely took a u-turn following his time in Casa Amor. Poor Amber (and the rest of us) were shocked by his attitude when he returned to the main villa and was rude to his ex. Remember when he told her to sit down? Yeah, we're still not over it. Amber broke down in tears following his attitude towards her, when she discovered she still liked him and when he finally apologised. Tear tally: 10 (she was one of the strongest Islanders but when she cried, we did too)
Dani and Jack's HUGE row
Everyone was left in despair after Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham had their first major row. It all kicked off after Jack failed three of the questions on the lie detector test but the Essex girl was mainly annoyed after he failed the question on his head being turned on the outside. When Dani confronted her other half things didn't go down well and they went on to have a row, with Danny Dyer's daughter storming off and Jack branding her actions "pathetic". Luckily they kissed and made up the next day and all seemed to be forgotten about with Jack even going on to win over Eastenders' Danny Dyer. Tear tally: 6 (It was upsetting but we didn't actually cry)
Samira is distraught as Frankie is sent home
There have been a couple of notable teary times from Samira Mighty. Firstly, she cried in frustration to Megan Barton Hanson, confused at why no one ever fancies her (which is a fair enough question because she's a mega-babe). And when Samira finally DID find love with Frankie Foster, the public cruelly voted him out just days later. Samira broke down, crying, "I just don't understand." NEITHER DO WE, SAMIRA. She later left the villa for her man but it then came to light that he apparently cheated... Tear tally: 9 (mostly because she also had to put up with Alex in the first week)
Megan breaking down over her insecurities
Following that lie detector test where all of the boys failed at least one of the questions, poor Megan was left crying after Wes lied and said she WAS wifey material but the test revealed he was lying. Opening up to her boyfriend she broke down in tears and revealed her insecurities about her former jobs. She explained, "If you had a son that was good at everything like you are - smart and intelligent - would you want them to come back with a girl that's done glamour modelling and stripping? You'd want them to get with a girl who is smart; like a doctor or sensible Sally who works in an office... You know that I'm embarrassed about my past and I know if my brother brought back a girl that has done the jobs I've done - it's not ideal." Luckily, Wes was there to comfort his lady and reassured her. Tear tally: 8 (because after opening up about her insecurities we all became Team Megan)
Zara Holland stripped of her Miss England title
Zara Holland was stripped of her Miss GB title after having sex with Alex Bowen. She broke down in tears, telling the other girls she felt like she'd let her family down and was worried that people would judge her. The girls rightly assured her that people would be fuming at the decision to strip a young woman of the title because she had sex. Hear, hear! Tear tally: 7
Sophie Gradon leaves the villa
After a confusing week - which saw Sophie Gradon dump Tom Powell share a sneaky snog with Katie Salmon, end things with a fiery argument, then decide she actually loves Tom - Sophie decided to leave the villa. Sophie had an emotional time on the island and we were relieved to see her leaving with a smile on her face. Tear tally: 7 In 2018, two years after she appeared on the show, Sophie tragically passed away.
Camilla Thurlow cries while Johnny Mitchell snogs Tyla Carr
Camilla Thurlow was ALL of us when she cried on Marcel Somerville's shoulder, while her love interest Johnny Mitchell stuck his tongue down Tyla Carr's tongue (who has since had a baby with a mystery man, BTW). She cried, "I honestly thought it was going somewhere, I just started to let myself get excited. I think this is always end up going to me."But Camilla was the real winner in the situation after delivering THAT feminism lesson to Johnny and bagging Jamie Jewitt. Tear tally: 8 (because we've all been there, honey)
End of the road for Kember?
It very nearly looked like the end for Love Island 2017 favourites Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies. Kem revealed to Amber that he felt friend-zoned and mugged off after a re-coupling. Viewers could hardly breathe as Amber cried, "I just don't think I'm the right one for you at all. If I'm making you unhappy then there's no point."It was a precarious moment, but thankfully the pair became boyfriend and girlfriend before going on the win the show and split the money. Oh but they split up a few months later. Tear tally: 6
Dom storms out of villa after hearing about Jess and Mike
Dom Lever was in floods of tears when Jess Shears left the villa. He sobbed, "It's the little things that are getting to me - who do you wake up with? Who brings you coffee in the morning?" But Marcel Somerville had to deliver the news that Jess had allegedly shared a night of passion with Mike Thalassitis in the outside world. He then stormed out of the villa before returning and telling Marcel, "I know it was real, I was true to her and I thought it was special." Tear tally: 9 (he was properly blubbering, guys)
Dani breaks down over cruel video
Fans were furious when producers broke up lovebirds Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer by shipping the boys off to Casa Amor. They then sent Dani a video of Jack's ex Ellie Jones entering the villa, which suggested that something was going on between the two of them. Dani broke down in tears and over 600 viewers complained to OfCom. Nobody messes with the nation's sweethearts. Tear tally: 9 (if Dani cries, we cry)
Georgia stays loyal, while Josh strays
While the boys were in Casa Amor with an army of new girls, Georgia Steel stayed loyal to Josh Denzel and turned down the chance to re-couple with a new boy.But Josh returned to the villa with bomshell Kaz Crossley on his arm, while Georgia stood solo and whispered, "How could you do this to me Josh?" We admired Georgia for taking a deep breath, swallowing her anger and carrying on. Tear tally: 7
Lee Sharpe rejects Jayne Middlemiss
TV personality Jayne Middlemiss fell hard for former football ace Lee Sharpe. She was left heartbroken when Lee confessed his feelings for fellow contestant Abi Titmuss. Jayne got emotional when she confronted Lee by asking why he fell for Abi. She then made a heartfelt but savvy speech that we can ALL relate to, "You binned me off. Accept the fact and get over it. It was the best thing you did for me. It was huge. My biggest fear in life is rejection. It doesn't scare me now. Now we've got something deeper than if we had a stupid thing. Not to say it would have been a stupid thing." Tear tally: 6
WATCH: Love Island's Tanyel exposes HUGE unaired argument with Ellie | Love Island Secrets
In more Love Island related news, Rachel Finni has told Closer magazine that the team behind the ITV show have made the mental health and welfare of contestants a top priority.
"The mental health checks are amazing – you have a thorough assessment ahead of going in and 24-hour support in the villa with a therapist who you speak to every day.
"When I left, I had regular calls with a therapist to check I was OK. They ask if you’re sleeping, how you’re feeling – they couldn’t do any more."
She added that he she is "on cloud nine" after the experience and said, "You’re so looked after. The food was amazing – steamed fish and clams in white wine sauce."
