Love Island provided a huge twist in Tuesday night’s episode after the results of a viewer vote for the most compatible couple were revealed. The episode saw the public vote for the couples they think are best suited for one another, with Lucinda Strafford and Brad McClelland, Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran, and Sharon Gaffka and Hugo Hammond left at risk of leaving the villa.
Lucinda and Brad were then voted the least compatible, but they would have to decide between them who would go home, meaning either Lucinda or Brad would have to leave. In past series, the couple with the lowest votes normally went home together, but the twist means a brutal decision will have to be made.
Viewers were shocked at the twist, but thanked producers for providing the drama.
“Now that is a TWIST OMDS well done producers xx,” wrote one.
"Okay Love Island, good twist," commented another, while a third added, "Okay these plot twists are really good."

In now ICONIC Love Island scenes, Theo was heard saying, “If Tyla likes Johnny then she should go as well really,” as Johnny said his goodbyes to his fellow Islanders.
Olivia Attwood and a few other Islanders laughed at his response, but Camilla Thurlow stepped in saying, "Theo be quiet seriously."
Brad and Lucinda’s relationship stepped up a notch on Tuesday’s episode as they enjoyed a cute date together, and viewers are now wondering if they will leave together or if there will be a repeat of Tyla and Jonny.
Sharing a snap of Theo, a viewer hilariously wrote, “Get ready for: “If she really liked him she would go with him” #loveisland.”
