Katie Price is favourite to win the upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother despite it not even being confirmed if she’s entering the house.

The identities of the housemates are always a closely guarded secret, with show bosses only revealing their names during the show launch.

This year’s series will see former famous contestants battle it out against new residents of the reality television house in a bid to be crowned the winner.

Former glamour model Katie won the programme in in 2015 and it is thought she may make another appearance in January.

The businesswoman, who hit the headlines for her rowdy Christmas party antics this week, is favourite to win ahead of Brian Downling, who won the second series of the civilian version as well as Ultimate Big Brother in 2010, and Brian Belo, who triumphed on series eight in 2007.

A spokesperson for bookmakers Betfair said: “Katie Price has a loyal fan base and they certainly won’t be phased by the stories surrounding her today, she board to victory last year after going head-to-head with Katie Hopkins and is unlikely to be anything short of thoroughly entertaining again this time around.”

The company is taking bets on a long list of stars winning the next series including Scarlett Moffatt, Ed Balls, Charlotte Crosby, Honey G and even the next US president Donald Trump.
